This Motor is for the single axis solar tracker. 
 
It has a gear ratio of 3000, resulting in a high torque of 30 kg per cm. The insides of the worm gear motor is shown in this photo.
 
This motor can easily be driven at 9V and, because of the gearing, only takes 10 milli Amps when operating. It rotates very slowly at 0.6 r.p.m. which in our application is not an issue at all.
The low speed, high torque and very low power consumption makes this motor ideal for turning a heavy solar cooker into the sun.
